We (the linux-yocto mailing list) are unfortunately not the best ones to
guide you here. For the intracacies of a particular subsystem, best
practices apply:
- Look for a reference driver in the kernel tree, or something that
performs
a similar function
- Ask on the dedicated mailing list for a subsystem, preferably with
specific questions about code that you've written. General questions
are difficult to answer.
