I can live with the two feature branches, but I have no problem with
bumps to the latest korg stable pretty much at any time. Breakage is
rare, and the releases have proven themselves over time to be more
benefit than issues.
I've obviously already merged and updated standard/base (and the
rest of the tree to those new 3.10 -stable updates. So they are there
to be used if required.
