[meta-freescale] Updating a bootstream from Linux userspace

Hi,

Is there a way to program an i.MX28  bootstream from Linux userspace so that the device can boot from it?

Freescale includes the GPLv2 kobs-ng application in their BSP release for the i.MX28 that can be used (with some issues) for this purpose. This application is not included in the yocto support, isn't it?.
