I am trying to backport brcmfmac to 3.14.52 kernel. 

I started off with backports-4.2.6-1.tar.xz and  have these environment 
variables which are automatically set when I source 
/opt/poky/1.8/environment-setup-cortexa7hf-vfp-neon-poky-linux-gnueabi


~/work/backport/backports-4.2.6-1 :$ echo $CROSS_COMPILE
arm-poky-linux-gnueabi-
~/work/backport/backports-4.2.6-1 :$ echo $ARCH
arm

>From some other searches looks like I would need to set 
KLIB_BUILD and KLIB

I am not sure what exactly these needs to be set to. But I took a stab and 
set it as below.

~/work/backport/backports-4.2.6-1 :$ echo $KLIB
/home/venkat/work/imx/ga_lnx/fsl-release-bsp/build-
x11/tmp/sysroots/imx6ulevk/
~/work/backport/backports-4.2.6-1 :$ echo $KLIB_BUILD
/home/venkat/work/imx/ga_lnx/linux-imx.git_52/

/home/venkat/work/imx/ga_lnx/linux-imx.git_52/ is where I have the compiled 
kernel for iMX.

And /home/venkat/work/imx/ga_lnx/fsl-release-bsp/build-x11 is the build 
directory for iMX6 Yocto build
