[meta-ti] Fwd: Cannot boot beaglebone image

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the helpful comments .... I did see in several places that
meta-ti had several bugs relating to beaglebone support so have ditched
that layer in preference
for the meta-beagleboard layer and the meta-pansenti layer as described in
the pansenti guide for installing. Now, everything works as intended..
.. and I don't need to remove the MLO from the eMMC drive, as when the chip
sees a valid boot partition on the SD card it boots that 1st.
So having to remove the MLO is not a factual statement ..
Anyhow, I now have a minimal booting image with my own layer and all the
extra packages in it .. even built my own hello world app and module and
had them installed in the
correct places ... and ... even got application debugging going with
eclipse (latest) and the yocto plugin ... so am very happy. :)
I also did a kernel hack and added the patch to my layer ... all works very
well.
Now, I have to find out how I do kernel driver debugging in eclipse and I
will have everything I need..
Regards,
B.
