i'm assuming that the only relevant repo there for up-to-date builds
for zedboard will be the meta-xilinx repo, correct? the other two
yocto repos don't look related to this.

  if it's worth holding off for a few days for a more complete
product, sure, i'm a patient man.

  i typically use HEAD for everything just to live dangerously, but i
can back off to poky 1.3 if it becomes necessary.

  i have other stuff to keep me busy, so i'll hold off until there's a
recipe for doing a zedboard build from scratch.  but i'm certainly
willing to test as soon as there's something to work with.
