[meta-xilinx] bitbaked u-boot on zedboard

Hello everyone,

I am just playing around with poky and the meta-xilinx layer for the
zedboard. I was able to build (bitbake u-boot-xlnx) a u-boot version.
Unfortunately this version is not runnable, I don't even see any output on
the serial console. Up to now I didn't dive in deeper to the subject. But I
am wondering, if what I want to do is principally doable. Is the
meta-xilinxlayer (
dylan branch) tested for the Zed board? Can I expect that the "bitbaked"
toolchain is working for the Zynq?

Does anyone already have any experience with the meta-xilinx layer on the
zedboard?

best regards,

Matthias
