I have those files, but do I need those in place for using the command line
tools also ? I'm just wondering if this is something that is needed for the
GUI tools or if this has an effect on using the command line tools also...???

Don't get me started on the Xilinx tools and/or how they f#@$ up the
environment with all the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Once you source their setup script, the shell is fubar for me, simple things
like even running evince won't work...:-/

The recipes don't seem to work for me to fetch u-boot-xlnx from the git repo,
I had to download the tarball and hack that into my DL_DIR to get it to build.
That type of stuff doesn't give me the warm fuzzies...
