I’ll post it on my website in about a month, but in the meantime, here are two pdf documents describing the procedure for:

a. Setting up a Yocto development environment using Ubuntu-12.10 64-bit. It covers setup for a GigaByte GA-Z77X-UP5TH motherboard with a Thunderbolt display, and has some guidances for setting up a dual-SSD RAID 0 configuration. My total build time using an i7 3.8GHz processor, with 16GB RAM and dual SSD is around 22 minutes for a ZC702 console-image-minimal recipe.

b. Install the Xilinx ISE 14.7 tools on Ubuntu-12.10 64-bit. Once that’s setup, the Vivado installations should go through just fine. You can ignore the Platform Cable driver setup and directly jump to the one for installing the Diligent drivers. I use both, since I use a Virtex-5 development board at times.
