[meta-xilinx] meta-zynq

Hi all,
My 2nd & 3rd jumpers on my Zedboard from the left  are at 3V3. This memory
card boots okay with a linux-digilent kernel that I have modified to
install some modules for the c920 camera.  The dylan build has gsl gnuplot
gnuradio v4l-utils openCV and java support.  The only thing I am try to fix
is sound at this time.
At "https://github.com/develone/meta-zynq/tree/3.12"  the 3.12 branch is
the fork I am currently working with.  I added folder boot_files010914
which has the files I used to boot (if someone could test these files it
would be great) and txt files with the logs of booting with meta-zynq
BOOT.BIN and the 2013.07 BOOT.BIN that was built with a modified
meta-xilinx.  It also has the build_info for the meta-zynq and a txt file
where I entered several commands and it try to run the kernel by resets.
This is the same thing I was getting with meta-xilinx.
Are plans in the works to add the features from meta-zynq to meta-xilinx?
The ability to generate a BOOT.BIN the 3.12 kernel my linux-digilent is 3.6
and has not been updated since Jan 2013.  Another great feature is the
sd-bootscript.
I would also like to learn the steps to merge git repos.
If I can provide any other information just let me know.
