[meta-xilinx] picozed

Has anyone tried the picozed-zynq7 machine target in poky-fido?
Would I expect that to work?

I can check it out and build it as per the directions in doc/BOOT.sdcard
but I cant seem to find a u-boot that works. The default boot.bin gives 
the interesting console error "Unsuported boot mode" like the picozed 
patch hasnt been applied (looking at spl.c). Yet config/zynq_picozed.h 
has configs defined. Elsewhere picozed.h is empty. I dont see any 
obvious errors in the logs.

I did try to make a BOOT.BIN as per the directions  using the xilinx 
bootgen. That
just hangs with no messages. It looks like the bit file loads,  and 
u-boot hangs.

I am using the FMC carrier board to hold the flash. Perhaps this is not 
supported.

I have had good success with BOOT.BIN, u-boot and bootgen in poky-dora 
on microzed, but I'm no expert.
Did I miss something dumb?
