Usually the hardware guy just sends me an e-mail with the address and IRQ 
number of the logic component. It's usually just a few addresses that you need 
from the logic, manually putting them into the devicetree is just two minutes 
of work, and that happens justs once per project.

It's the other 90% of the devicetree that Vivado knows nothing about that 
takes most time to assemble.
