[meta-xilinx] AXI bus pl-ps comms

Hi,

I'm trying to use the AXI bus for communication between the PS and the
PL on a zynq. I've managed to set an egpio signal using the shell:

echo 1 > /sys/class/gpio/gpio54/value

The PL then directs this to an LED.

Is there anyway to do something similar using the AXI bus? I've
installed the DMA drivers but I can't work out how to use them. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
