I've been focusing my efforts on upstream u-boot for Zynq and
MicroBlaze, and Zynq SPL seems to be functional there. Note: there is
a QSPI driver available upstream but I have not tested it myself.

Last I heard of 'Marketing' responsible for Linux/U-Boot it was in a
tail spin, have you got a contact that Xilinx customers can correspond
with on this area specifically? might be useful to get them looped in
on this list or at least let them know of the discussions that are
being had.
