Hi,
It looks like a mainline multi_v7 4.4.x kernel boots on the zedboard (I
just added the device tree from meta-xilinx [1])
What I currently have up and running is a xilinx u-boot:
U-Boot SPL 2015.07 (Jan 06 2016 - 21:49:27)
U-Boot 2015.07 (Jan 06 2016 - 21:49:27 +0000)
which boots from the SD card and loads
kernel, fdt, fpga.bin over tftp
I mount the rootfs over nfs
Now I would like to use a mainline u-boot as well, but 2015.10 does not
seem to work out of the box. The xilinx u-boot, which is being spit out
by a meta-xilinx build works.
Is there anything special I need to do with mainline u-boot?
I do something like this:
make zynq_zed_defconfig
make all
But I don't get any boot.bin file.
I guess this is some cooked spl which loads u-boot.img.
Does anyone here use mainline u-boot?
Regards,
Robert
