What is the easiest way to add new lib or apps to the rootfs in petalinux.

2> how to add the source code in project , build it , compile it and get it detected in rootfs config when we do petalinux-config -c rootfs.
This is for peatlinux v2016.4, which includes yocto build using bitbake files and recipes etc..

This is probably documented in PetaLinux tools
