[meta-xilinx] Pyserial

I need pyserial -2.7 version. I got source code from this link
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pyserial/2.7
How to add this into rootfs of petalinux package. I am not finding how add
it.
 Or how meta-python layer is added?
