[meta-xilinx] linux-xlnx_2017.1.bb:do_kernel_version_sanity_check failure?

I just got back from the holidays and simply attempted to re-run my bitbake
command after making some changes to switch from MACHINE_DEVICETREE to
SRC_URI (with a device-tree.bbappend that I wrote).

However, I seem to be getting some errors. Should I attempt to completely
clean my shared state and try again from scratch or should I update to a
more recent meta-xilinx that includes the reorganization done recently?
