[poky] morty: matchbox-desktop fails due to missing gdk-x11-3.0

You are right. I have a .bbappend to gtk+3 in meta-freescale layer[morty]
that breaks the build. This is the .bbappend in case:

cat meta-freescale/recipes-graphics/gtk+/gtk+3_%.bb
PACKAGECONFIG_remove_imxgpu2d = " \
    ${@bb.utils.contains("DISTRO_FEATURES", "wayland", "x11", "", d)} \
"

CFLAGS_append_imxgpu2d = " \
    -DLINUX \
    ${@bb.utils.contains('DISTRO_FEATURES', 'wayland', '-DEGL_API_FB
-DEGL_API_WL', '', d)} \
"
Ignoring this .bbappend makes the build of core-image-sato succeed.
