[poky] Using OEToolchainConfig.cmake.d

OEToolchainConfig.cmake refers loads all the supplied includes in the 
OEToolchainConfig.cmake.d directory.

What is the intended way for a package to add something to the 
aforementioned directory in the SDK?

(In my particular case I'd like to add some Python-specific CMake 
settings in the SDK)

I have not found any example of a package using this configuration 
directory.
