[Toaster] Toaster 1.6.1 and 1.7 versus bugzilla

Hi all,

1) Toaster 1.6.1

Just as a reference, I currently see 15 bugzilla cases assigned to Toaster-1.6.1. I myself do not have a firm lockdown date yet (they are still focusing on getting 1.6 out the door), but I assume we have about one month to get these items completed. I mention this because I certainly want to get my cases into review and pushed to master in time.

I also see two cases still assigned to 1.6.0, and I assume that Alex you will move them to the appropriate release.

  6114 1.6 M5 ACCE alexandru.damian --- Elapsed_time value null for tasks with outcome=0
  6063 1.6 M5 IN P alexandru.damian --- Toaster traceback - Execution of event handler 'toaster_buildhistory_dump' failed

2) Toaster 1.7

I volunteered (or was volunteered) to help insure that by next Friday April 25, 2014 the Toaster 1.7 entries in Bugzilla are both (a) entered and (b) have preliminary milestone dates attached. To that I end I will be hoping that our conversation in email and in the Twiki site comes to enough agreement by next Wednesday's meeting that I can enter the remaining content. I will also be pushing for people to give opinions on the milestone dates (else I will use my own heuristic).

There are already cases in Bugzilla against Toaster 1.7.

  * I observe that there are some 9 cases either "Accepted" or "In Progress".
  * I observe that there are some 15 cases that are "New".
  * I observe that there are some 5 cases that are "Need Information", "Reopened", or are in "Wait".

These cases appear to be a mix of (a) gaps against the current implementation, (b) features postponed from 1.6, and (c) features that may be obsolete or otherwise covered in the new design discussions.

If you own one of these case, you may want to triage them in the next few days so that we can clean up the list.

Thanks,
David
