[Toaster] Toaster weekly call notes (11th February)

WEEKLY UPDATES

David: had some problems related to the new daemon dependency. Working on
remaining issues with the configuration page.

Belén: Fixed some small issues, reviewed implementation work and is
working on refactoring the navigation (right now it sucks)

Michael: the all machines page is done. Working on other bug fixes.

Alex: mainly fixing the build start related problems, and merging the
information from the builds with the information from layer sources.
Currently focusing on medium+ issue recently opened, and resurrecting
automated tests to make sure new patches don't break master as we approach
release time.

Ionut: did some exploratory testing on Toaster

Mihail: almost finished with the test cases. Expects to finish tomorrow if
Belen answers some questions he has

Scott: working on how to embed videos on the manual.

OPENS

1. Enhancements review: cut off date for enhancement work is next week. We
reviewed pending enhancements, and picked the following 5 that need to
make it before the cut off date:

6483 and 6682 go to David Reyna
6755 and 6835 go to Alex Damian
7302 goes to Michael Wood

On top of the enhancements, we have an extra 60 bugs open, although we
have another milestone to work on those.

2. Review of the high bugs for the build functionality: a couple of weeks
ago we picked 5 issues that needed to be fixed in order for us to announce
the build functionality. 3 of them are now fixed (7213, 7171 and 7189),
one is in progress review (6593) and the last one is 6755, which is on the
list of enhancements that should be fixed before the cut-off next week. So
great progress. Thanks everyone for tackling those issues so quickly.

3. Backporting rules: Alex explained that we don't backport our patches.
QA will open issues, but we'll close them as won't fix
