Attendees: Stephen, Mihail, Ed, Belen, Paul, Alex, David R., Brian, Victor, Tiago,

Updates:

David R. - On vacation last week and fixing bugs at WRS this week.

Belen - Spent last week reviewing feedback on image customization. It's all collected on a wiki page at https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Design_feedback. Some changes are coming and will be sent around for review.

Alex - On Vacation last week. Submitting some bug fixes for review to deal with current master breakage. Will have Monday off.

Victor - Working on visual identity: sent an RFC to the mailing list. Please provide feedback! Working on a README file to document how to set up his customized version of Twitter Bootstrap, which will implement his new visual identity.

Tiago - Spent last week on another project. He is working on a plan to do some sorely needed round of usability testing of Toaster, which might try and do during ELCE.

Brian - Just joined the Toaster group to take an architect role on the Intel side. Coming up to speed on Toaster and Intel.

Mihail - A lot of last week was spent recovering from a power outage in Intel Romania.

Ed - Just got off vacation. Working on implementing SSH remote builds, which currently don't work. Might have to rewrite it. Has some feedback on image customization designs: will update wiki page and add feedback there.

Paul - Just got back from vacation. Participated in some discussions about image customization.

Stephen - Working on YP and MinnowBoard project management.

Opens:

David R. - How did we break Fido? The layer index was providing invalid data, and Toaster would "bail out" when encountering that problem because Toaster could no longer trust the data. There are patches in review to handle this issue. Warnings for invalid data can be seen or not setting debug options. This last feature needs to be documented. We should have tests to check for this situation, since we don't control the data and its integrity. Toaster must be robust and handle this properly.

Belen - Feedback discussion on dynamic package was reviewed and is all on the wiki.

Belen - YP Wiki needs some cleanup. Can Belen remove old wiki instructions and point to the manual? Yes!!! Some stuff might be useful still, so Alex will have a look at it and identify what's still useful and what's not.

Belen - Clarify https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7945 feedback. Discussion with Alex and Paul about the feedback. Long term fix for this is to automate it. Short term we might just have to live with it and update the manual. We should also document this in the manual. 6683 / 7963 are the long term fix.

Mihail - QA uses Lava to trigger automated testing. Lava needs Django 1.6.1 but toaster is on 1.6. Is there any way we can get Toaster with 1.6.1? Alex says that Toaster should work with all 1.6 and 1.7 releases, so there might be a bug in the startup code. QA should use virtualenv to deal with that incompatibility. How to use virtualenv is documented in the Toaster manual.

AR's:

Belen - Contact the LF to update them on 7945.

Belen: see if we can update the 1.8 manual on the website to document 7945 issue

Alex - Review the Toaster wiki page and identify was still useful and what's obsolete.

Mihail - Open a bug about Toaster complaining about Django 1.6.1.

David R. - Send Sujith instructions on using YP 1.8 branch of Toaster. - Done!

Michael - Work with Belen on replicating Sujith's problem in master. - Done!
Mihail - Resend an RFC for the test cases to the mailing list. - Dropped!
