When you change the project list, we check the list of layers currently
added to your project, then check if they exist for the new release you
have selected. If yes, we change the layer release, and that's what the
notification message is trying to tell you with this text:

"3 layers changed to the dizzy branch: openembedded-core, meta-yocto,
meta-yocto-bsp"

The list of layers stays the same: the only thing that changes is the
layers' branch. If you hover over the layer names, so should see the new
branch in a tooltip, after the git url.

I am not sure I am explaining this properly, though.
