[Toaster] Toaster Minutes 11/18/15

Updates:

Elliot: Working on the upgrade to Django 1.8. Working on the database locking issues. Good discussion on how Elliot is using Django to access the database to keep locking problems from happening.

Victor: Working on toaster issues.

Belén: Working on the new theme. Uploaded design for 8422. Working with Michael on bug 7828.

Michael: Working on bug 7828.  Added patches for testing bugs.  Did a patch on the Bitbake URL issue. Working on 8527 and 8128.

David: No much toaster work this week. Asked some questions about image customization, that were answered.

Brian: Made comments on Ed's patch. Back and forth with Michael about the lsupdates issue

Tiago: Worked on remaining issues with CSS integration.

Mihail: Worked on automating remaining manual test for Toaster.

Alex: Working test plan.

Brian - Do an investigation of lsupdates command and possible conflicts. (Done)

Brian - Talk to Jessica about image customization issues. (In Process)

Alex - Set up a meeting to discuss the toaster testing report. (Done)

Brian - Review Ed's 2-modes patches. (Done)

Elliot - Share the scripts for changes to the new theme (with a branch in poky-contrib). (Done)

Opens:

Alex - QA Test plan for Toaster 2.1.  Reviewed document at:

lsupdates: build information is probably more accurate than the information provided by the layer index. But the advantage of allowing updating layer index information is that Toaster will be able to learn about any new layers that are added to it. So a possible solution would be not to update existing layers, but bring in any new ones. We agree that this could be done. Belén will comment on the corresponding Bugzilla entry to make sure we don't forget about it.
