[Toaster] Toaster Weekly Meeting Minutes 27/07/16

Updates:

Brian: sent this update before going on holiday. I've done little Toaster
stuff this week. My AR's:

* Henry & workflow, still in process, I've gone over a first pass.

* Ed's production container , still pending Randy finishing his dev
toaster container which should be done (complete with testing) in the next
day or two.

* selenium test issues/version combinations. -- I think I'll switch to
using Randy's approach which runs the tests in a selenium maintained
container.  My host had some random failure issues but the container was
fine.  the code for this will shortly be in
https://github.com/crops/toaster-container

Josh: no updates

Elliot: Reviewed and submitted Michael¹s branch for database refactoring.
Submitted patches for 9836, 9631 and 9475. Looking at 9952: he can't
reproduce, although he can see the code can go into an infinite loop.
Belén will try to reproduce and send him a database file.

Michael: working on the Django fixtures to replace toasterconf.json. They
seem to work ok, but there are a few more database schema optimisations we
can do to reduce the amount of information required in the fixture.

Libby: testing 2.2M2

Ed: updated his patch for fixing unhandled exception and sent it for
review. 

Sujith: working on 9911 and 9913

David: on vacation last week

Belén: working with Sujith on 9911 and 9913. Designing how to configure
and build the extensible SDK from Toaster (9297).

update about Toaster and Patchwork from Brian)
AR: Brian - Create a bug on event replay test framework and assign it to
Ed (Done)

New AR's:
AR: Michael look into the build server to check the Selenium test failures
AR: Belén try to reproduce 9952 and send the database to Elliot

Opens:

Michael: Elliot¹s patches for the Selenium web driver were not merged to
master, and we are seeing failures in the Selenium tests that might be
caused by those patches missing from toaster-next. Elliot resubmitted
those patches last week and added them to toaster-next, so they are
definitely there. If the Selenium tests are still failing, it might be
some other problem. Michael will check the build server to see what's
going on.
