[meta-ti] cp: cannot stat ‘./targetfs//etc/*’: No such file or directory

Hello everyone,
                      I am getting an similar issue like
https://lists.yoctoproject.org/pipermail/meta-ti/2017-January/009481.html.
But even after applying the patch specified in the above link I am
observing the issue and in my case MACHINE = pandaboard.
