Most all of the pieces are in place, just the ones I couldn't get through git
which I pulled down locally and built my own packages for and have those in my
build/downloads/.

1) The 2 files which Ed change the name of, I also did.

2) The u-boot-zynq needed u-boot-xlnx which I pulled down locally and hand
patched your diffs, as they didn't want to apply by themselves to my
zynq_common.h. I edited config.mk and added the two lines also.

3) The other one was linux-topic, I pulled that manually and built and have
package local in build/downloads also.

4) change my path for bootgen, so it generates properly in the build.

Both 2) and 3) above are due mainly to git not working properly in the
scripts, but the patching may need to be looked at also...

I'll watch your lead when you do that, and update mine the same.

Hmmm...this part concerns me, should I go back to a previous set of tools ? I
think the can still be downloaded. Would a 2013.3 be better?

I know it needs to be newer than the 14.4 I was using, and I can download the
14.6 like you're using if they are available.

Please advise on what you think would be the best approach? Or should I want
for a new set of 2014.1 tools ?

At least I got the damn zedboard booting! Mostly thanks to your work Mike, you
took most of the difficulty out of it, and thank you for that.
