The "source" command should get the shell variables like PATH from the Xilinx 
tools. If the command "xps" is not recognized, either you don't HAVE xps (and 
you need it) or the source command didn't actually work.

/usr/share/fpga.bin is intended to load from the root filesystem, thus AFTER 
the linux kernel has loaded, and when userspace applications start to initialize.

You can integrate the bitstream into BOOT.BIN, but you should only do that if 
you really really really need it. The only use case for that is that you need 
the PL to be programmed BEFORE the bootloader (u-boot) runs. For example, you 
have NAND memory attached to the PL and you want to retrieve and boot the 
kernel from NAND.
