[meta-xilinx] Loading FPGA bit streams

Stephen,

I thought that the xdevcfg driver was not part of the meta-xilinx Yocto build and that the community was working towards a generic fpga_manager (or something like that) solution.

I will investigate further.

Thanks.

Hi Peter,

You can load Zynq FPGA bitstreams from Linux user space using Xilinx's xdevcfg driver.

Hi,

General question this from somebody just starting out with a Zynq/Yocto setup. What are the options for loading FPGA bit streams? I think it can be done from the u-boot SPL and u-boot itself but what about from Linux user space? Thanks, any input gratefully received?

Peter
