[meta-xilinx] USB PHY problem on ZC702

I’m having a problem getting the USB port to operate on a Xilinx ZC702 development board using Yocto Daisy 1.6.2.  This is probably a similar problem to what was discussed previously this month for the ZedBoard, but I cannot work out how to get the fix discussed in that thread applied to this platform.

On boot the USB fails to initialise with the following kernel messages:

ehci_hcd: USB 2.0 'Enhanced' Host Controller (EHCI) Driver

zynq-dr e0002000.usb: Unable to init USB phy, missing?

usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage

We originally tried using the 3.15 kernel provided by ADI since we have a FMCOMMS4 board attached to the ZC702; after having problems with that went back to the linux-xlinx kernel defined in meta-xilinx, but also with no joy.

Can anyone help here.

Thanks

Alan
